They built a large ferris wheel in downtown Atlanta called the SkyView and it’s pretty cool. At about 20 stories high, it’s pretty large. I was there for the opening, but didn’t get a chance to ride it because of the poor weather. But I did get my camera out.
My friend asked me to help him get a video ready for a trade show he was entering in Atlanta. The trade show was a week away. Without enough time to get footage of the bird feeder in action, I came up with this instead.

Yep, life-time long Lions fan here. When my friend went to Oakland University which was a mile away from the Pontiac Silverdome, he stayed in line overnight to get us front row seats to every game for four years, and they were great years with Barry Sanders as the running back. But this team…ugh. It’s getting difficult not to just give up on the NFL.
This is a video I made for the Dorito’s Crash the Super Bowl contest. Winners have yet to be decided, but I think we have a decent chance based on previous winners.
I’m still working on the photos I took while shooting this spider.
This one was shot with a 100mm macro with an extension tube. Then I cropped the photo. I don’t know how people know which percent it was cropped so I don’t know how to tell you. I just know that this is about a third of the original size.
